duck-bill house

A marshlands nest by Byron Bourke.

A simple design comprising interlocking R2.0 insulated panels and a standing seam roof. Folding openings open up to create a covered entry and transition to the outside. The surrounds are draw further into the space through the use of opposing square awning windows, acting as the 'eyes of the duck!'.

A volumetric prefabricated unit the Duck-Bill House is able to be driven and lifted into orientation. The design is also remarkably light-weight and is able to be jacked up onto metal struts or perched on logs.
